Travel
“No, no! The adventures first, explanations take such a dreadful time
”
Looking back it seems clear that the seeds of my passion for travel and photography were planted long ago, in family slideshow evenings.
My dad projected old negatives of photos he took onto our living room wall and he and mum would recant tales of when they travelled through India years before my sister and I were born.
These images of these far-flung places filled me with wonder and ever since then I've been fascinated by travel.
This fascination culminated in me setting out solo to travel the World for 7 months before I went to university.
Without consciously thinking about it, I quickly became acquainted with talking to myself through the little point and press camera I took. Looking back at the footage now yields nothing but unbearably shaky and cringe-worthy footage, but as the years have rolled on the adventures keep coming and I'm now resurrecting this forgotten past-time by digging around my archive material and making shorts of adventures past and present.
India is a wonderful place - you must go.
In 2015 I had 2 weeks off university. I decided to try and hitch from London to Istanbul
Off the west coast of Nantes, France, exists a jewel of an island where summer makes you think you're in The Truman Show. Luckily a friend of mine has a holiday home there!
-Coming Soon-
In the summer of 2015 my girlfriend and friends did their medical elective in Cape Town. I spontaneously booked a flight and joined them to travel through Mozambique, Malawi, Tanzania and Zanzibar.
